1. No one *really* knows what they want to be when they grow up. Better to have a clue what that job will be like before you sign on.
2. Employers, especially start-ups who love interns , don’t have much time to find people. We think of those we’ve worked with first when we need someone.
3. No matter how much team experience you’ve had, you probably haven’t had it with the age diversity you’ll find as an intern. Think of it as an opportunity to enhance your teamability!
